We recently organised a fundraising event to support children in need.
The team decided to sell cakes from their head office as a means to raise funds. The initiative proved to be highly successful, as we managed to raise over £150. This generous contribution will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the lives of the children who will benefit from the funds raised.
We showed our ongoing support for Armistice Day by organising a special initiative.
A member of staff baked and decorated poppy cupcakes, which were then distributed to all the head office staff at the 11th hour.
This gesture aimed to honour and remember the sacrifices made by soldiers during times of war.
By incorporating the symbol of the poppy, which has become synonymous with remembrance, G&A Security demonstrated their commitment to commemorating this important day.

At G&A Security, we believe in giving back to our local community and supporting those in need. That’s why we were thrilled to have the opportunity to donate a large amount of Easter eggs to the local children’s ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital in 2019.
The hospital’s children’s ward is a vital resource for families in our community. During the Easter holiday, the hospital’s staff work tirelessly to ensure that every child has a happy and fulfilling holiday, despite any medical challenges they may be facing.
That’s why we were so happy to be able to donate a large quantity of Easter eggs to the hospital’s children’s ward. We were thrilled to be able to bring a little bit of joy and happiness to the children and their families during what can be a difficult time of year for many.
The Team Luke Foundation aims are to make more people aware of neuroblastoma, help parents access key services & information, provide practical support, & fund research to improve diagnosis & develop kinder treatment. Neuroblastoma is a childhood cancer.
G&A Security proudly sponsored Team Luke’s recent fundraising journey, which raised £6,500 for the foundation.

We showed our support for two members of staff who took on the challenge of raising funds for Brain Tumour Research.
The staff members bravely decided to abseil off a building in Newcastle as part of their fundraising efforts.

We were proud sponsors of Darlington Rugby Football Club putting a team forward for the International Krasiko Beach Rugby 5’s Tournament 2022, held over in Burgas, Bulgaria at the weekend.
We were also able to watch the team play live on Sportlane TV in the blistering heat!

G&A Security hosted a coffee morning event in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. The event was held at the company’s headquarters in Darlington, and was attended by employees and members of the local community. The purpose of the event was twofold: to raise funds for Macmillan and to bring attention to the important work that the organisation does in supporting individuals and families affected by cancer.
Throughout the morning, attendees were treated to a variety of delicious baked goods and refreshments, all of which were donated by G&A Security employees.
The event was a great success, with over £200 raised for Macmillan. The funds will go towards supporting the charity’s vital work in providing medical care, financial support, and emotional assistance to those affected by cancer. G&A Security is proud to have been able to contribute to this important cause and looks forward to hosting similar events in the future.
